Mr. and Mrs. William J. Peterson of Williamsport, Rt. 1, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, March 5. William Peterson and Beatrice McCormick, both natives of Warren County, were married at Danville, Ill., March 5, 1920. They have spent all their married life in the county with the exception of five years, when when they farmed near Henning, Ill. They lived on the Charles Dick farm west of Carbondale for 35 years before moving to their present home near Rainsville.

They are the parents of two sons, Billie, deceased, and Robert, who resides with his wife, Joan, and sons on Rt.4, Attica. They have four grandchildren, Mrs. Steven Gooden (Linda) of Lafayette, Tom, Mike and Scott at home, and one great granddaughter, Kimberly ann Gooden. No reception will be held, but cards and visits......................
