Newtown – A service for the ordination of James M. Campbell of Newtown will be held in the Newtown Presbyterian Church Sunday evening May 8 at 7:30 o’clock. The son of Mr. and Mrs. JR Campbell he was graduated from Richland Township HS in 1947 and from Hanover College in 1951.  He will received a BD degree from McCormicak Theological seminary on Thursday.  He is serving the First Presbyterian Church of Neoga, Ill and after his ordination will be installed as pastor of that church.  Dr. FW Russell of Palo Alto, Calif a great uncle of Mr. Campbell and also a graduate of McCormick seminary in 1894 exactly 60 years ago will deliver the ordination sermon for his grand nephew.  He is a former resident of Newtown.  --transcribed by kbz
