NEWTOWN  --  Mr. and Mrs. Borden Abolt of Newtown will observe theire 50th wedding anniversary at at Open House at the Richland School Community Room in Newtown on Sunday, March 8, from 2 to 4 p.m.  They request no gifts.

Borden Abolt and Mary Ann Marr were married March 11, 1920 at the parsonage of the Rev. Russell B. Kerns in Covington.  They resisded near Newtown where Mr. Abolt engaged in farming, the retired in 1967 and moved into Newtown.

They are the parents of three sons, Marvin Dean of Covington Rt., Milford of Newtown, and Robert Lee of Attica, five granddaughters, Mrs. Beberly Rennison of Veedersburg, Mrs. Carolyn Glemm of Akron, Ohio, Misses Phyllis and Vicky Abolt of Attica, and Christina Abolt of Newtown;  three grandsons, Michael, serving with the U.S. Navy in Porto Rico, Jeffery of Newtown and David of Attica.
