William H. YOUNG, farmer, Attica, was born in Logan township, November 26, 1849, and is the son of Daniel and Mary (NAVE) YOUNG. His parents were both early settlers in this part of Fountain county. His father has farmed and dealt extensively in stock, and is now wealthy. His mother died many years since. He received his education at Wabash College and Notre Dame University, a Catholic school at South Bend, attending each one year. He has always been engaged in farming, except during 1871 and 1872, when he was
clerking in the store of Samuel CLARK, of Attica. He was married September 20, 1871, to Martha E. TEMPLETON, of Williamsport, who was born December 5, 1848. They have had two children, as follows: Mary Lilly, born March 20, 1874, and Grace Ella, born January 28, and died August 21, 1880. He has 185
acres of land in Logan township, and forty in Shawnee, the whole valued at $7,000. In politics Mr. YOUNG is a democrat.
