SANGSTER, William A.
Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal 30 May 1867
WA Sangster, esq noted in a meeting that Covington and Fountain County were more than anxious to discharge their obligations to the Indianapolis, Crawfordsville and Danville Railroad Company as they had gathered the appointed $48,000 and the right of way that they were charged to obtain.
Note: Sangster had been working quite a bit with I.C. Elston and Joseph Ristine for quite awhile to get the railroad to go through – as far back as Feb in 1865. As early as 1837 Sangster announced in the newspapers that “he intended to collect all accounts due him, adding, You who have tears to shed prepare to shed them now!”
I assume this is the same WA Sangster
