Henry Newlin, druggist, Wallace was b in Davis Twp, this co. July 12, 1854 was the only son of Dr. Joseph W. and Mary (Brant) Newlin. He rec'd his educ at the Attica HS and was raised to the business of a druggist in Attica & Covington. He began business on his own account at Jacksonville on March 20, 1879. His marr. with Miss Phebe Myers daugher of Elijah Myers a native citizen of Jackson Twp was celebrated March 12, 1880. They have a little dau. named Mary. Mrs. Newlin is a member of the Lutheran Church; he is a Democrat.
