GOOD, John Matthew

Source: Waveland Independent 7 Feb 1921?

John Matthew Good, otherwise Mike, was with us this week, having been honourably discharged from the signal corps at Camp Grant on Friday of last week.  He is a mighty fine looking young soldier and has been greatly improved by his Military Training which in the main, he enjoyed, although he says the best thing he saw in the West was the train for home.  After his preliminary training he was detracted for work with the Spruce men who were getting out timber for airplanes.  He was in northern Washington most of the time and aw plenty of big trees and scenery.
