C.H. Carter, fancy groceries and confectionery, is a son of W.B. Carter of the firm Carter & Frazier; commenced business in September 1880. His is the first store if its kind established in this place. Mr. Carter, though quite young, evidently realizes the importance of having his stock of goods look tempting. He could hardly do better were he an A.T. Stewart.
