Mr. Beedle, father of Abram, Isaac and Aaron T. Beedle, settled in the eastern part of Richland Township in 1824 and entered their land; the same in part now owned by Jasper and Francis Beedle. They had first choice of this land, and made a choice selection; good prairie, good water and excellent timber joining. There was no settlement for a long way east of them.
