One of the beautiful June weddings of the year was that in which Miss Grace Hetfield of Hillsboro, and George Schwin, of Covington, took the sacred pledge to travel the long and uncertain pathway together. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride’s parents, one-half mile west of Hillsboro on Wednesday evening, June 15, 1904, in the presence of a large number of in-town and out-of-town guests. The bride has been a popular school teacher of the county for several terms and the groom is the son of JB Schwin of the Covington Friend and a reporter of that Journal. After a few days they will be at home to their friends at Covington. – kbz
