Purfeerst, Bernice and Bert Hughes - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Miss Bernice Purfeerst, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Purfeerst of Covington was married Thursday afternoon to Bert Hughes of Danville by Father Moran of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of tis city in the presence of friends and relatives. The bride was one of the court house girls for some time, being in the county agent’s office, afterward holding an important position at Hillsboro and recently with the Meir Brothers Department Store at Danville.  Her many friends in Covington wish her happiness.
