MILLER-Hull

Source: Covington Friend 9 April 1915 p 8

The Rev. Wayne Miller, the popular young minister of the ME Church here at Veedersburg gave his friends quite a surprise when he announced that he contemplated becoming a benedict.  Rev. Miller is a student in Wabash College and since last year has been the pastor of the local ME Church.  He is a brilliant young man and is not only a promising but an able preacher now.  The News joins his many friends in congratulation and in expressions of much joy for this happy young couple.  The Crawfordsville Review of Thursday has the following announcement: The marriage of Miss Mae Hull, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LO Johnsonbaugh of Lebanon and Rev. Wayne G. Miller of this city took place last evening at 8 o’clock at the home of the bride on West North Street.  The guests included relatives and a few intimate friends, Rev. George B. Jones of Hillsboro, performed the ceremony.  Rev. Miller is pastor of the Methodist Church at Veedersburg but resides in this city where he attends Wabash College.  He was formerly pastor of the United Brethren Church at Lebanon – Veedersburg News   --- kbz
