On last Sunday morning May 15th 1898, Mr. Henry Jones, the senior member of Wood Bros. & Co’s store secured a rig and in company with Miss Mollie Black, drove to Scott's Prairia and at Mr. Clint Hestler’s residence were united in marriage by ?. A. Plunket of the Christian denomination of Crawfordsville, Ind. Mr. Jones is one of Kingman’s most prosperous young men of steribility. He, in company with W. A. Wood, his brother-in-law, came here something over a year ago and embarked in the general merchandise business and have established a trade that is far beyond any in south …….. Fountain. This was done by perserverance and push by both parties. We bespeak for the bride a dutiful and loving husband. Miss. Mollie Black is a daughter of Mrs. Sarah Black the hotel keeper. She is a young lady well thought of by all who knew her. She was very devotional to home and church, and will make him a deserving and obedient companion.
