Married, at the U. B. parsonage in Stone Bluff, on February 5, 1900, Mr. Smith E. Hoagland and Miss Gertrude A. Minnick, both of Van Buren township, Rev. C. M. Byerley, officiating. Mr. Hoagland is a native of Kentucky. Coming to this county seven years ago he hired to John Meeker in all this time he has lost but six weeks from his work. He is one of Stone-Bluff’s best young men, indeed s model. The bride is the accomplished daughter of Fletcher Minnick and wife and a leader in society.
