Whittaker, a jeweler of Hillsboro and Miss Clara Gott of Mellott, waived all
superstition aside and came to Covington, Friday Aug 13 obtained a marriage
license and went forthwith joined in wedlock by Esq. Asa Osborn. The groom said
that he had just 13 letters in his name and he believed it a good omen. - kbz
