Danville, Ill Aug 5- After living as man
and wife for 18 years, within which time they became the parents of two
children, Reed Furr, a well known farmer near this city and Miss Estella Hahn
have been legally married. Last Tuesday
Mr. Furr went to Covington, Ind where a license was issued to wed his supposed
wife, and they were married in legal form by Squire Osborne. It is said that
Mr. and Mrs. Furr recently became converted during a religious revival in this
city. They were formerly residents of Fountain County Indiana but removed to a
farm near this city several years ago. Furr formerly owned several fast horses
and was a great jockey in his day. Till within a short time he was engaged in
the dairy business.
