Covington, Oct 1 – Miss Marianna Wilkey, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilkey, Covington and Ensign John L. Duncan, son of Mr. and Mrs. JL Duncan, Mishawaka, were married in the Methodist Church Sept 25, Rev. J. Shields White officiating. Miss Beverly Servies was maid of honor; Miss Bettijane Livengood and Miss Mary Kay Romine, bridesmaids; Ensign Arthur Day, Trafalgar was best man; Donald McFarland, Hoopeston, Ill and William Cordier, Chicago ushers. The bride attended Franklin College and is a member of Delta Delta Delta and Kappa Kappa Kappa sororities. The bridegroom is a member of Kappa Delta Rho fraternity. Having received his commission at Notre Dame on Sept 22, he has been sent to Harvard University for further training. They will make their home in Cambridge for the present.

Note: They were married until she passed away 12 June 1976 – he served in the US Navy, Lt. Jr. Gr on the USS Enterprise.  He then worked for Studebaker attaining the position of National Fleet Sales Manager.  He also farmed.  They had four children (see findagrave for more)
