Bert Boutwell and Miss Lydia Craft went to Danville last week to secure license and be married. There was no parental objection and the young people never gave age a thought and they were sorely disappointed when license was refused them. Returning home they secured permission from their parents and Miss Craft’s father accompanied them to Covington, Saturday, where they were given license and were united in marriage by Mayor Tom McGeorge after which they returned to this city where they will make their home. They are excellent young people and have the best wishes of a legion of friends for a happy wedded life.—Veedersburg News. – jlr
