alward, oliver_Seaberry, jean-1914 - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Somewhat of a surprise was sprung on the people of this community the first of the week when friends of Oliver Alward received announcements of his marriage to Miss Jean Seaberry, daughter of Dr. Seaberry, of Dubois, Penn., the ceremony having taken place at the bride’s home on December 31, 1914. Mr. Alward made the trip to the home of his bride and returned without letting anyone know of his marriage. Mrs. Alward will arrive here in about a month when they will begin housekeeping in this place. Mr. Alward has been a teacher in the schools of this county tor several years and is an estimable young man, Kingman welcomes him and his bride into our community. Mr. Alward is at present teaching in the Wallace school. – jlr
