Well vacation ended up being 10 days, and then required the rest of the week to recoup :) Too much fun! Then a special job offer came by for which I needed to learn some new web related stuff and a mad scramble to teach myself began. I don't have the job yet, but neither does anyone else, still hoping. And to culminate it, I just had an emergency serious, yet not complex, female surgery on Tuesday! Duh, can we spell hand-basket :) Anyway, my whole point is to address those who have given up hope of getting any Elkhart county information from me. I promise I will be at the library and county courthouse next monday and tuesday! For those who requested information off the CRIMP files, I still have not heard when the EGS will find a new home for them or what. Do remember you can order them thru your local FHC as they do have a complete set of them. Otherwise, you get to wait just like me for them to come to rest somewhere :( If you have written me personally and I said I'd be back in a couple weeks, believe me, I have not forgotten you, you went into a file of your own at the time of my response and no one has been lost. If you did not hear from me, and do not hear from me by Monday nite, then you should resend, but I know there are several requests that came during this past month and I will respond to all of those by Sunday evening. Right now, I'm not supposed to be here :) So I will say adeiu, adios, and farewell, till Sunday nite! Respectfully, Sherry ______________________________ X-Message: #3 Date: Thu, 13 Aug 1998 23:17:30 EDT From: JKM47@aol.com To: INELKHAR-L@rootsweb.com Message-ID: Subject: Re: [INELKHAR-L] My apologies Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit Hello sorry to hear about your illness. Hope you are better. I had asked you about looking up the obituary for Elsie (Elizabeth) Barker who died on September 25, 1966. Please let me know what you find. Thank you. Janet
