Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Through the courtesty of Ned Parcell, index files for the Elkhart County, Indiana CRIMP project are now online at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~inelkhar/CRIMP/crimp.htm These records consist of Elkhart County Probate records, Guardianships, Minor Heirs, Wills, Marriage License, Marriage Applications, Marriage Consent, Lawsuits and Late Birth Certificates issued during the war. In 1991 and 1992 the Family History Library of The Church Of Latter-Day Saints microfilmed these records, so film of the actual records can be ordered from any LDS Family History Center. Included is a cross-reference showing the CRIMP film number and the matching LDS film number. I just put these files online yesterday--some files are still rather large (the index files totaled over 2MB in text format) and they're still work to be done, but I hope they prove a great asset to anyone researching family in Elkhart County, IN. Please let me know any comments or corrections. Special thanks to Ned Parcell for donating this and to all who spend countless hours compiling this information.
