Method, b. 2 Oct 1880 d. 1951 m. Bertha L. HOSHAW b. 1882 d. 20 July 1925 Both are buried Baintertown Cemetery, Elkhart Co. IN. I am very interested in his decendents. Hopefully they can give me some insight on my ggrandmother, Maude McNutt. Maude was the nanny and housekeeper for Frank Method for about 25 years. It is my understanding that the children of Frank Method were very fond of Maude. If anyone knows of this family I would appreciate any help I can get. I'd like information on FAHLSTROM'S POND in Nappanee, IN. My gr grandmother was Sarah Miller Fahlstrom, daughter of Jacob C. Miller. Apparently, it was once an ice house and the ice was stored in the pond. I'd like to find out the following information: >From records I have relating to the ice house - only Sarah's name appears on them - so was this maybe a Miller business before? Sarah divorced Fahlstrom in 1895/96 and then moved to CA. What happened to Fahlstrom's Pond and the Ice business? Does anyone know what happened to Carl Johan (Charlie) Fahlstrom? Their oldest son, Charles died in 1895. He was 18. I have been unable to find any record on his death. I have checked death records for the county - nothing! His death seems a little mysterious - can anyone shed any light on what happened to him or how I could find out? Was this ice house/pond on Miller property and if so who owns it now? Anything at all about the family that ran this ice house? What is in that location now? Are there any relatives of these people still in the area. They would be either Fahlstrom's or Miller's. I know these are a lot of questions, but would really apprecite any info at all on these people and Fahlstrom's Pond! Thank You!
