Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Hi, I am researching the TRUAX/TRUEX and DALRYMPLE families of Elkhart Co., IN. Can anybody give me a list of cemeteries in Jackson and Union townships? I am looking for the following people: Israel DALRYMPLE Sarah Dewitt DALRYMPLE They are believed to have died prior to 1850. I'm trying to eliminate or prove the possibility they may be buried in Union or Jackson townships in Elkhart Co., IN. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Jennie Williams illiams ______________________________ ------------------------------ X-Message: #2 Date: Tue, 27 Jul 1999 18:34:38 EDT From: SDSAZ@aol.com To: INELKHAR-L@rootsweb.com Message-ID: <3d8167be.24cf8dfe@aol.com> Subject: Re: [INELKHAR-L] Union & Jackson township cemeteries ? Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi Jenny - There are a series of books titled 'the Cemeteries of Elkhart County, Indiana'. Not sure but they might be on microfilm at the LDS Family History Centers. Have you thought of writing to the Elkhart County Library for them to do look ups for you? The address: Elkhart Public Library 300 South Second Street Elkhart, IN 46516-3184 I'm also doing research in Elkhart County and have found them to be quite helpful. My father was born around 1935.He lived in Elkhart until around 1959-1960.He joined the U.S.Army,and was stationed at Ft. Rucker, Alabama till approximately 1960.He met my mother,Mary Armour, and married her in 1961.I was born in 1961,and they were divorced when I was two months old.I am unsure if my father stayed in the state of Alabama. My mother and I moved away. My father had another child about four years before I was born.I believe that this boy's name was Lee.I would really love to meet my brother, probably even more than my father, because I am unsure if my brother is even aware of my existance. If any of this information rings a bell with anyone,if you are related to me ,and even if you don't know where my father is,I would love to hear from you.I have met two very gracious people in Elkhart already, Erica and Tom,who have been kind enough to help me in my quest.I would welcome and greatly appreciate any and all help I could get,and I look forward to receiving welcome news. And if it is not in God's will for me to meet my father and brother,I will accept that too.But I have great hope and faith.
