All of his children stayed in the area of Elkhart Co. except for my husband's grandfather, Amos. Amos went to Dixon and Whiteside Co.'s Illinois. Have a lot on Amos but not much on his father and mother, Moses and Susan/Susannah Heckman. Any help would be appreciated. More than willing to share what I have. Amos Wise had siblings that married Smeltzer and Beaver's in the late 1890's. Thanks for reading and hope to hear from someone connected!! Bart Wise =======================
