They lived in Elkhart City, Elkhart Co. IN. By the 1860 census, they had divorced and Samuel had married CATHERINE WILDEN. Some of the children of he and Sarah remained with he and Catherine. Other's of theirs, the story goes, were placed temporarily at some neighboring farms. Their daughters, PAMELIA (10 yrs) and MATILDA (13?) I cannot find...neither can I find Sarah, who apparently may have went to a mental facility of some sort. PAMELIA ended up marrying CHARLES HUPP in Lakeville, St. Joseph Co. IN, and died in South Bend in 1934. Any one familiar with this family? I have much to share on Samuel' & Sarah's ancestors, as well as, much I would like to know. Peggie
