BELLE EDWARDS
The Goshen Daily News
Front Page Oct. 19, 1891
At the residence of the late A.M. Parsons and family, 117 South Sixth street. lies the remains of Mrs. Belle Edwards, nee Broughton. She died at 2 o'clock this morning, the primary cause being consumption, but the death of husband, child, father and mother probably hastened the end. In her death the entire family is removed from earth, with the exception of Mrs. Frank Beane, who now lives at Blackfoot, Idaho. Six funerals in the same family and from the same house within a period of eighteen months represents a mortuary record of unusual sadness and empasizes the uncertainty of life. The deceased was born in New York state and came to Gosheen when a child with her mother, who died a few days ago. She would have been 35 years of age next December. The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the house.
