Arlene Ziegler Arnold,
80, New Albany, formerly of Dubois, passed away at 4:42 p.m., Sunday, February
11, 2018, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was born at
Dubois, Indiana on January 20, 1938, to Harl C. and Jessie (Friedman) Ziegler. Arlene was a
graduate of Dubois High School. She retired from Clark County Memorial
Hospital where she worked for many years after retirement she worked for the
Clark County Medical Society. She is a member of St. John’s Lutheran
Church at the Dubois Crossroads. She is survived
by two sisters, Virlee Ziegler Elkins of Jasper and Sheila Stultz (Paul)
of Havre de Grace, Md.; brother, Robert Ziegler of Jasper. Preceding her
in death is one son, Kevin Arnold; two sisters, Furba Lou (Dot) Riggle and
Delores (Sis) Stone; and three brothers, Martin Ziegler, Marvin Ziegler and
David (Bud) Ziegler. Private family
funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17,
2018, at St. John’s Lutheran Church at the Dubois Crossroads with burial to
follow in St. John’s Cemetery. The Rev. Mary Poston will officiate. Visitation 11:00
a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018, until service time at the church. |
