Obituary for Wilma LottesDateline Portersville, Indiana Wilma Ruth Lottes, age 95 of Portersville, Indiana passed away at 10:40 a.m. Friday (March 9, 2012) at the Greenwood Village South Retirement Center, Greenwood, Indiana. She was born at Portersville, Indiana September 13, 1916 to Conrad and Esther (Rudolph) Jackle. She married Walter (Pete) Lottes at Alfordsville, Indiana February 21, 1939. He preceded her in death August 19, 1976. She lived on the family farm near Portersville until moving to Jasper in 1995. She later enjoyed being a resident of the St. Charles Health Campus for five years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Jasper and a charter member of the Goodwill Home Economics Club of Boone Township. Her many hobbies included gardening, quilting, sewing, crafts and playing cards. Surviving, One daughter, Peggy Zehr, Whiteland, IN One son, Ronald Lottes, The Villages, FL Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Preceding her in death besides her husband are two granddaughters (Twins) Angela and Christine Lottes. Her step-mother, Lena Opel Jackle who raised her. Also one brother, Ceril Jackle and one step-brother Edgar Opel. Funeral services for Wilma Lottes will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (March 13, 2012) in the First Presbyterian Church in Jasper with burial to follow in the Portersville Cemetery, Portersville, Indiana. The Rev. Larry Langer will officiate. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Monday (March 12, 2012) at Becher-Kluesner North Chapel and one hour before services at church. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Jasper or to a favorite charity. |
