Robert J. Keller, age 76 of Jasper passed away at 1:44 a.m Tuesday (November 29, 2011) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper. He was born at Ferdinand, Indiana May 10, 1935 to Alvin and Anna (Recker) Keller. He married Elsie Hoffman on June 18, 1960 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township. Robert was a Farmer in the Portersville Community and was a partner in the operation of the Edgar E. Hoffman and Sons Sawmill. He also served in the Military Police for several years. He is a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper- Jasper Moose Club - Ireland Sportsman Club. Surviving,

One brother, Charles Keller, Otwell, IN Preceding him in death is one son, Chris Alvin Keller and one sister, Rita Cooper and three brothers, John, Richard and Donald Keller. Funeral services for Robert Keller will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (December 1, 2011) in Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Portersville Cemetery. The Rev. Darrell Wineinger and the Rev. Adam Ruschau will officiate. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m.Wednesday November 30, 2011) at the Becher - Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
