Cleo E. Fisher, age 83, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday (August 23, 2009), Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper. He was born at Dubois, Indiana, July 8, 1926 to Charles Egid and Rachel Ann (Thacker) Fisher.
He married Dorothy Hoffman on October 19, 1946. Surviving,

Mrs. Jim (Brenda Kay) Brown, Jasper, IN 4 Grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren , 3 great grandchildren, 9 step great Grandchildren, 1 great great step Grandchild.
Also 2 nieces and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 son , Terry Joe and 1 brother, Robert Fisher and 2 step great grandchildren. Cleo was a WWII and Korean Navy Veteran. Cleo and his wife owned and operated the Fisher’s Home Appliance Repair in Portersville for 45 years. He is a member of the V.F.W. Post # 673 and the Disabled American Vet erans. No Visitation: Private funeral services will be held at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial in the Portersville Cemetery.
