Amy L. Eisenhut, age 99, died at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday (July 21, 2010), St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. She was born at Loogootee, Indiana on October 21, 1910 to Walter and Lola (Myers) Breidenbaugh. She married Gilbert Eisenhut at Lawrenceville, Illinois November 3, 1934 , he preceded her in death on December 6, 1999. Amy retired from the Crane Naval Depot and had previously worked Reliance Shirt Factory in Loogootee, Indiana. She was a founding member of the Assembly of God Church in Alfordsville, Indiana. Survivors include her caregivers : Dorothy & Melvin Meyer. Dubois, IN Wanda and Larry Hilsmeyer, Huntingburg, IN
Also several nephews. Preceding her in death besides her husband are 1 sister, Ethel Baker and 1 brother , Bernard Breidenbaugh. Funeral services for Amy Eisenhut will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (July 24, 2010) at the Becher & Kluesner North Chapel with burial to follow in the Portersville Cemetery, Portersville, Indiana. The Rev. Paul Hyatt will officiate. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday (July 23, 2010) at the Becher & Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Memorial may be made to the Assembly of God Church or to a favorite Charity.
