Iva Hardin, granddaughter of Younger Hardin, the original owner of the land where the cemtery rests, took a "census" of the
cemetery in 1940. She was a very prominent librarian in Kentucky, and collected huge amounts of genealogical data over the years.
Her papers are now held by the Kentucky State Historical Society....This information provided by Del Himsel.
