From the town of Celestine proceed East on Indiana 164 for approximately 3 miles. Grave sites would be to the right (South) of the highway. We have not been able to ascertain the exact location of these unmarked graves at this time. The facts we have are as follows: On 13 April 1864 a land patent was
issued to Ambrosius Raufeisen for 40 acres in Township 2 South Range 3 West,
SE 1/4 of SE 1/4. We consider this to be the most likely location.
