Unlocated Boone Township Burial
Sites As
of 01 November 2007, we have been unable to located the following grave
sites. We include them here so that they are not lost or forgotten.

“On the old Wm. H.H. Green farm in Boone Township is the grave of a child of Addison Green. The grave is only a few feet north of the Madison and Boone Township line.” Volume 17 page 379 “Lincoln Brittain has two children buried on the farm he used to own in Boone Township.” Volume 17 page 379 “Prince Anderson has two children buried on the farm of his brother Thomas Anderson. One of these children lost its life in a tanner’s vat.” Volume 17 page 379 “Thomas Anderson, Jr., son of Thomas Anderson, Sr. of the War of 1812, had a tannery on Birch Creek in Boone Township, southwest of the old “Birch Creek” schoolhouse. A child of William Prince Anderson lost its life in one of the tannery vats. It is buried back of the garden just west of the Anderson house.” Volume 9 page 555 “Two children by the name of Wood are buried on the Jacob Nelson farm.” Volume 17 page 379
“Andrew Foster Kelso and his wife Susan (Hargrave) Kelso have two or three children buried on his Boone Township farm. One child was called Lucy Angeline Kelso.” Volume 17 page 379 “On the old Andrew Kelso farm there are three graves, north of the house, and near the road south of Sections 5 and 6. Those buried there are John Foster Kelso, Lucy Angeline Kelso and one unnamed infant, all of the Andrew and Susan Hargrave Kelso family. John Foster Kelso was born about 1837. A walnut tree that grew near the graves was cut down about 1918.” Volume 9 page 547 |
