Donald Hall, age 87 of Cuzco, IN, passed away at 3:47 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at his home. Donald was born in Cuzco, Indiana on December 11, 1929 to Robert and Grace (Conrad) Hall. He married Edith Wineinger on September 4, 1954 in Huntingburg, IN. Donald retired as an ammunition specialist from Crane Naval Base. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War. Donald was an avid coon hunter and was recognized as the PKC Coon Hunting World Champion in 2000. He loved to raise Walker Coon Dogs and was a member of the Professional Kennel Club, and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. Surviving is his wife, Edith Hall, four daughters, Paula Wininger and husband Jim, Dubois, Deb Kluesner and husband John, Dubois, Karen Kempf and husband Rick, Dubois, and Cindy Dorsam and husband Kieth, Dubois, two sons, Mike Hall and wife Chris, Cuzco, and Jim Hall and wife Sharon, Dubois, nineteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, three sisters, Wilma Dorsam, Huntingburg, Chris Egg, Arkansas, and Susie Craig, Huntingburg. Preceding him in death was one grandson, Bo Hall, and two brothers, Bobby Gene Hall, and Channing Hall. Funeral Services for Donald Hall will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana with burial to follow in the Cuzco Cemetery. Pastor Al Madden will officiate. The VFW Post #673 will conduct military gravesite rites. A visitation will be held from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cuzco Cemetery Fund, or a favorite charity. |
