| DIED: Sunday, April 17th, Miss Cora J. Rose, aged 22 years, 3 months 23 days, daughter of Walker and Julia Rose. Cora was born and raised in Dubois County, though she lived for some time in Pike County. She was attacked by spinal meningitis some four weeks previous to her death, and suffered terribly, as do nearly all with that disease, but in her lucid moments professed faith in a loving savior, and her belief in a happy eternity awaiting her, and asked her friends to meet her in heaven. She was buried at Shiloh Graveyard on Monday |
