Burial: Was buried in Wilhite Graveyard, 2 miles west of Jasper, Indiana. Goverment Marker placed by Luther A Perker. Grave was reinterned in 2000 to Shiloh Cemetery, about two miles from Ireland, Indiana. Service: Private in Houghton's Co. P Denny's Mass. Militia Also in Capt Jonathans Houghton's Co., Col Samuel Denny's 2nd Regt General Fellows' Bridgade Enlisted Oct 24, 1779 and discharged Dec 1, 1779 at Claverack. Also with West Point men 1781.
