Only the basic information was extracted from the census records.  Several columns of information in each census was excluded because it wasn't essential for an extraction. The census was/is subject to errors made by the census taker way back then and with the present day transcriber - and - all is subject to interpretation.  The use of * and ? indicates my inability to read the enumerator's hand writing and/or some other problem, such as a bad copy.  If someone recognizes a name that I was unable to decipher, please contact me and I will correct it.  Otherwise, folks should resolve any questions they might have regarding interpretation, spelling, or the omitted columns etc., by examination of the actual census record.  Source information follows:
1900 Census: Delaware County Children's Home, Center Township, Delaware County, Indiana, page    197.  Child residents were referred to as "inmate";
1910 Census: Delaware County Orphan's Home, Center Township, Delaware County, Indiana, pages    176B-177. Child residents were referred to as "son" or "daughter";
1920 Census: Delaware County Orphan's Home, Center Township, Delaware County, Indiana,    Yorktown Pike, page 16.  Child residents were referred as "ward"; 
1930 Census: Delaware County Children's Home, Center Township, Delaware County, Indiana, page    250.  Child residents were not given a relationship designation; 
NOTE: 1895 - A list of children residing at the home is included in the Muncie newspaper article dated February 27, 1895.
