Ruth G. Eberhart Dies At Residence

Mrs.Ruth Givan Eberhart, 73, was found dead at her home Sunday, by Mrs. Anthony C. Hassmer, a close personal friend, who called the family physician. It was surmised that she had died Friday, Sept. 1.
Mrs. Eberhart was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, who died as a result of a car accident five years ago, and her son, Billy, who died in an accident while a high school student. She was the last of six children of the late Judge Martin J. Givan. Her three brothers, Clinton, George, and Charles, and her two sisters, Miss Madge Givan and Mrs. Elizabeth Hoffman are all deceased. She leaves several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the family home on Ludlow street Tuesday under the direction of Fitch Brothers Funeral Home, with burial in Greendale Cemetery. The Rev. Floyd Cook of Indianapolis, former pastor of Hamline Chapel Methodist Church conducted the services.
