LOUIS EBERHART


Louis Eberhart, son of Henry and Catherine Eberhart, died at the Good Samaritan hospital, Friday, Dec. 31, 1926, after an illness of four weeks, at the age of 67 years. He was born Feb. 8, 1859 at Germany.
He was married to Miss Dora Rodemeister on April 19, 1882, and to this union were born five children, the oldest son, Lewis, being killed in explosion several years ago.
He was confirmed at the Emanuel Lutheran church at the age of 12 years and has been a faithful member ever since, ever ready to fulfill the duties of his church. He was a kind and loving father and at all times ready to help a friend in need. He was also a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge, ritualistic services being held at his home Sunday evening.
Funeral services were held at Emanuel Lutheran church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Pryor of Norwood. Interment in Greendale cemetery.
He is survived by a wife, two daughters, Mrs. Ed Tafferty and Mrs. Wm. Mohr and two sons, Edward and Frank, all of this city; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson; one sister, Miss Elizabeth Eberhart and four brothers, Henry Eberhart of Greensburg, Ernest Eberhart of Cincinnati, Charles and William of this city.

The burial of Mr. Andrews from Wilson Creek took place here at the Lutheran church Wednesday of last week about noon.

Summons Follows Paralytic Stroke


Funeral Rites for Mrs. Dora Eberhart, Who Died Sunday, Are Held at Emmanuel Church Wednesday
Mrs. Dora Eberhart, who has beenin failing health for several years, suffered a paraltic stroke and passed away Sunday morning at 10:45 o'clock at her home in Newtown.
The last sad rites were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Virgil Yohe, at Emanuel Lutheran Church Wednesday afternoon at her home on Main street. Interment in Greendale cemetery.
The deceased was a faithful member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. She had many friends who mourn her passing.
Mrs. Eberhart was the daughter of the late Frank and Augusta Roedemeister and was born in Cincinnati, O., July 19, 1860. She was united in marriage to Louis Eberhart, to which union were born five children, one son, Louis, having preceded her in death.
Left to mourn their loss are two sons, Frank and Edward Eberhart; two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Mohr and Mrs. Alma Tafferty; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Higgins of Pennville, Mrs. Louis Twactmann and Miss Frieda Roedemeister of Cincinnati, and one brother, Louis Roedemeister of Leesburg, La.

Funeral Rites July 4 For Henry Ellinghausen



Funeral services for Henry D. Ellinghausen, 77, who died Monday morning at the Shady Nook Nursing Home after a lengthy illness, will be conducted Thursday, July 4, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Johns Lutheran Church, Bellair. Friends may call at Fitch Bros. after 4 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors are two brothers, William and Edward of Tulsa, Okla., and one sister, Mrs. Carl Eberhart of Dayton, O.
