Nancy Jane White Funeral Tuesday
Mrs. Nancy Jane White, 85, 9 1/2 N.E. Fourth Street, died at 11 p.m.
Friday at her residence. She had been seriously ill for three weeks.
Born June 15, 1884, in Daviess county, she was a daughter of Henry
and Indiana (Johnson) Armes. She married Edward E. White, July 29,
1902. He died in 1949. Mrs. White was a member of the First Baptist
church and was educated in the Daviess county schools. Survivors include
a son, Ralph White, Lynwood, Calif., two daughters, Mrs. Maurice (Fern)
Corn, Washington; Mrs. Gerald (Dorothy) Till, Jamestown, IN; four grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday
at the Gill funeral home. The Rev. Glenn Hazel will officiate. Burial
will be in the Aikman Creek cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral
home after 4 p.m. Monday.
