Thelma Teague

OTWELL, IN., - Mrs. Thelma Traylor Teague, 86, died Friday at 6:10 p.m. at the Huntingburg Convalescent Center.

The funeral was a 1 p.m. today at the Burr Oak Traylor-Union Church north of Otwell with Pastor Ben Helton officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe, Scott and James Avon, Donald and Ronald Traylor, Frank Rapley and Dean Elliott.

Harris Funeral Home, Petersburg, was in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Traylor-Union Church Cemetery Fund.

She was born March 6, 1908 in Dubois County to John Leonard and Pauline Henrietta Dorsam Eck. Her first husband, Noble E. Traylor, died June 18, 1954 and her second husband, Noble E. Teague, died June 2, 1983. She was a member of the Traylor Union Church at Otwell.

Surviving are three sons and three daughters, Donald Traylor, New Orleans, Louisiana, O'Neal Traylor and Mrs. Noel (Maxine) Russell, both of Otwell, James D. Traylor, Columbus, Georgia, Ms. Carol Strange, Hot Springs, Arkansas and Mrs. Martin (Linda Kay) Gray, Huntingburg, one stepson and two stepdaughters, James Teague, Petersburg, Mrs. John (Marcenia) Walters, Cicero, and Mrs. Basil (Shirley) Phillips, Vincennes, 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister, Austin Eck, Petersburg and Elnora Eisenhut, Haysville, and two half brothers, Eugene Eck, Xenia, Illinois and Harold Eck, Otwell.

One grandson, Terry Traylor, and three brothers and sisters, Infant Floyd, Arthur and Leonard Eck, and Leona Potts, have died.
