Myrtle Taylor Dies Suddenly
Myrtle Nancy Taylor, RR 4, died suddenly at her home on the Maple Valley Road at 8:50 p.m. last night. Her health had been failing for six weeks.
Mrs. Taylor was the wife of Lawrence R. Taylor, whom she married Oct 25, 1907. She was born April 12, 1889 in Washington Twp, the daughter of Albert and Mindy Carnahan Potts.
She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses.
Survivors include fourteen children. They are George R. Taylor, city; Mrs. Florence White, city; Miss fern Taylor, Muncie; Phillip Taylor, Evansville; Mrs. Mable Russell, Oakland City; Mrs. Bertha Potts, city; Mrs. Emma Dunn, Wheatland; Mrs. Helen Nay, Muncie; Luther Taylor, Plainville; Mrs. Grace Kerns, Springport, IN; Mrs. Mary Hartley, Muncie; Mrs. Marjorie Wilson, Carlisle, IN; Mrs. Shirley Hiffner, Cleveland, HO; and Harlen L. Taylor, US Navy, Norfolk, VA.
Mrs. Taylor leaves 29 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one brother, Harley Potts, city.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Gill funeral home with burial following in Mt. Gilead cemetery. Friends may call at the Gill chapel to pay their respects.
