Mary Josephine Shelton, 91, 401 S.E. 11 St., died at Daviess County Hospital at 1:15 a.m. today. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Gill Chapel with the Rev. Lyle Rasmussen officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Reeve Township. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. She was born on July 25, 1896, in Reeve Township to Michael and Mary Jane (Hedrick) Cullivan. She married Lawrence Gillick on Nov 11, 1916, and he died Nov 16, 1951. She married Louis Shelton on Nov 9, 1963, and he died Dec 27, 1970. She formerly attended the Oak Grove Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Hazel) Collins, and Mrs. Bill (Wilma) Kirsch, both of Washington; one step-son, Wilbur Shelton, Washington, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
