HEART AILMENT FATAL TO EARL F. SHELTON
        Earl Franklin Shelton, 59, RR 2, Montgomery, died at 9:15 p.m. Thursday
          at the Daviess County Hospital after an illness of four weeks of heart
          trouble. His condition had been serious for two weeks. Deceased was
          born in Otwell, Feb 2, 1894, the son of Stephen A. and Malinda (Robling)
          Shelton. He was married to Ether Robbins Feb 25, 1921, and she survives
          with six children: Wayne L., city, Raymond A., Route one, city, Clarence
          E. US Army, state of Washington, Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Cox, city, and
          Frances and Phylis, at home. There are seven grandchildren, two brothers,
          Edward S. and Lewis Shelton, city, and two sisters, Mrs. Flora Taylor,
          route 2, Montgomery and Mrs. Lelia Davies, Detroit, Mich. Mr. Shelton
          was a carman at the B & O and was a member of the Carmen's Brotherhood,
          the VFW and the Mt. Zion High Rick Church. He served in the Navy in
          World War I. Hour of funeral is 2 p.m. Monday at the Oak Grove church
          in Reeve township with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. O.B,
          Thomas will be in charge. Friends may call at Gill's to pay respects.
