Ronald Schnarr
Ronald Gene Schnarr, 63, of Washington, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at his residence.
Born Nov. 2, 1944, in Reeve Township in Daviess County, he was the son of Leland John and Estel Mae (Berry) Schnarr.
A 1962 graduate of Alfordsville High School, he was a retired farmer and a member of Aikman Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara "Bobbie" (Risley) Schnarr, whom he married July 26, 1990; mother, Estel Mae Schnarr of Washington; sons, Jeffrey Schnarr of Terre Haute and Brent Bowman of Washington; two stepsons, Rick Robbins of Avon and Rob Robbins of Oaktown; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and brothers, James D. Schnarr of Glendale, Joseph L. Schnarr of Washington and Donald J. Schnarr of Jasper.
He is preceded in death by one son, Douglas Schnarr, and his father, Leland J. Schnarr.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Gill Chapel, with Rev. Ron Raymond officiating. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Mariah Creek Cemetery, Oaktown.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
