— Apoplexy Fatal To Reeve Farmer - Sheridan Scales Suffers Stroke of Apoplexy At Supper Table and Dies Within Few Hours
Sheridan Scales, a farmer living about two miles east of High Rock, died about 10 o'clock Tuesday night at his home. Mr. Scales had not been complaining and death was unexpected. He suffered a stroke of apoplexy at the supper table Tuesday and died a couple of hours later. He was the son of Phillip Scales, a Civil War veteran who is still living. He is survived by his widow and four children, Charley and Grant Scales, Mrs. Mary Burris and an eleven year old son.
