Mildred Juanita Rogers

—WASHINGTON, Ind. - Mildred Juanita Rogers, 80, died at 4 a.m. Monday at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was co-owner of Rogers East End Grocery from 1940 to 1957 and of Rogers Red & White from 1957 to 1964 and also worked at McGrath's Flower Shop for 14 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the First Christian Church, where she was a charter member of the Go Ye Missionary Society and a Sunday school teacher for many years. She graduated from Washington High School in 1933.
Surviving are three grandsons, Chris Hart of Mongu, Zambia, and Jeff Hart and Philip Hart of Washington. Her husband, Marvin Ross Rogers, died in 1964.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gill Chapel and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
