VINCENNES — Charles Richard "Dick" Rodgers, 83, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday
at Willow Manor Nursing Center. Born Oct. 12, 1925, in Telodo, Iowa,
he was the son of Earl J. and Clare (Baker) Rodgers.

VINCENNES — Charles Richard "Dick" Rodgers, 83, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday
at Willow Manor Nursing Center. Born Oct. 12, 1925, in Telodo, Iowa,
he was the son of Earl J. and Clare (Baker) Rodgers. He attended Alfordsville
High School and was retired from NCR where he worked in data processing
in computer operations. He is survived by one daughter, Karel Rodgers
of Wyoaging, Mich.; four sons, Kirk Riley Rodgers of Pacifica, Calif.,
Charles Mark Rodgers of Encinitas, Calif., Scott Phillip Rodgers of Zeeland,
Mich., and Jonathan Todd Rodgers of Holland, Mich.; stepsons, Wendell
Stuart Alderdyce of Encinitas, and Dwight Gene Alderdyce of San Diego,
Calif.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren;
four stepgreat-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Ann Scheirmann of Vincennes,
and Cynthia Clare Farnsley of Shelbyville; and brothers, Rev. Daniel
Rodgers of Kingston, Okla., and Justine John Rodgers of New Albany. He
is preceded in death by three brothers, Earl James, Frederich Alford
and Robert Warren Rodgers. Private family services will be held with
no visitation. Arrangements are being made through Gill Chapel. Condolences
