DEATH REMOVES MRS. RAGSDALE
Mrs. Myrtle Della Ragsdale, age 47, wife of the Rev. Wilkes W. Ragsdale, Pilgrim Holiness minister, of Somerville, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Josephine Boyd, on the Cosby road at 1:45 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
Mrs. Ragsdale had been ill for several years and seriously ill during the last week. She was a native of this county and lived here all her life until going to Somerville, Ind., in 1941.
She was the daughter of David and Alice (Pennington) Wuertz, and was born May 22, 1895. Her father is living. She married June 11 193 and he survives with the following children: Waldo Ragsdale of Evansville; Mrs. Jose phone Boyd, Cosby road; the Rev. Paul Ragsdale , a missionary of the Pilgrim Holiness church in the British West Indies; Forrest Ragsdale, Misses Ruth and Iona Ragsdale, Cosby road and Carl Wilkes Ragsdale, at home, in Somerville.
Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Fred Wuertz, Arizona; Mrs. Maude Connelly, Oregon; John Wuertz and Virgil Wuertz, Arkansas; Harry Wuertz, South Dakota; Earl A. Wuertz, Washington, and Mrs. Mabel Gilley, a twin sister, Washington rural route. She leaves three grandchildren. Mrs. Ragsdale was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness church.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bethel Methodist church, south of Washington with the Rev. Area Montgomery, of Indianapolis, district church superintendent in charge and burial in Bethel cemetery. The body had been removed from the V. L. Poindexter funeral home to the Ragsdale residence on the Cosby road.
